    Hello! I have two questions I hope you can help me with:

    Is there a way to remove the small circles below a slider?

    How do I edit (background colour, size) and move the ‘X’ icon used to close an extended post?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you! Joe

    P.S. I’ve had a read around and it looks like slide show navigation is limited to clicking the image or the ‘Prev’ ‘Next’ buttons but just incase I have missed something is it possible to insert arrows or other alternative slider navigation buttons?

    hi Joe,

    have you tried using the alternative slider function available on C1?

    [c1_slider]
    [c1_slider_img]http://superfolio.org/e2-demo/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/10-kilian-eng.jpg[/c1_slider_img]

    [c1_slider_img]http://superfolio.org/e2-demo/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/17-kilian-eng_16.jpg[/c1_slider_img]
    [/c1_slider]

    to edit the close button use some CSS in the advanced mode:

    .inner .button a.icons-black{background: transparent url(url to your new close image.jpg) no-repeat center;

    please note that i’m using .icons-black as i’ve set the black icons set.

    Hi, thanks for your help. But now I have a major problem. I replaced what I thought was the slider function code with this new slider code in functions.php and pressed update … I was presented with a blank white page, my website (www.joedaviesdesign.com) has disappeared and I can’t log into wordpress as a blank white page appears when I try to access the login page. What have I done!!!??? Can you advice on what I should do? Thanks.

    Houston, we have a problem.

    :)

    You misunderstood my suggestion, you can use my previously mentioned code [c1_slider]…[/c1_slider] while in the write post panel, no need to edit core files!

    However, your WP will now be unreachable until you fix your functions.php file, best thing to do would be getting a clean copy of the theme and replace the old-one via FTP. Your theme customizations will be kept safe by LTE and you will not loose any post or page you’ve previously published.

    Btw please refer to C1 Usage Manual available on your Versioning Boaard for more infos on posting sliders
