I am using Custom Menus to create an item (url) that points to an external link. When I click on the menu item the URL brings me to my homepage. The external URL does not even show when i hoover over the menu item. Please advise

    hi Sevann,

we’ve considered this need, when adding a menù item just add external-link as Title Attribute.
This will exclude the current menù item from the standard E2 Ajax navigation.

    Check attached image:

    — for now I removed the external link-menu point because it didn’t work — let me know if you need it to be there to check it..

    hi moditz,

first of all let me say that looks amazing, really love the clean layout you used, would be great if we could add it to our Showcase.

I’ve just tested the external link function on our DEV and works a charm (check the upper left menu EXT – NON EXT links).

Btw, we’re upgrading today E2 to 2.6 RC3, you’re running 2.6 Beta 7, we warmly reccomend to upgrade. and in your case maybe using the new pagination method will save you a bit of first time loadings.

Hey Tipografico! Thank you so much for the appreciation, I will submit it today :)

Next question: I really cannot find the upgraded version you’re talking about on you Versioning page. Did I oversee something?

If you send me a link, I will upgrade immediately.

BTW: Even though I’ve been here a couple of times now, it is still REALLY hard to find this Versioning page.

Maybe put it right under support…

    Warmest regards

Hey guys, 2.6 is available in your Versioning Board, we’ve included E2 Horizons to all of your for free.

@moditz, superthemes.org has been growing a lot during last months, we’re crafting a completely new base for all of you and we’re planning to launch it in september along with a lot of new amazing themes based on Evolutive2. Today we’re 200% focused on increasing our product quality and we think we did a huuuge step ahead with 2.6, now we’re waiting for the most important thing: your feedback.
