Keeping our themes updated by listening to our Customers feedback and requests has always been one of our top-of-the-list tasks, we strongly believe in keeping a direct contact with you to learn from your experience and to have a clear view on your needs and expectations on our products.
Today we’re glad to announce that Evolutive is now 2.5!
Lots of new features are in the pack and some minor bugs have been fixed, most of them have been previously discussed on our Boards, here’s a quick list of what’s new in the pack:
Fixed Header position option
You can now choose a new layout option for the header (without coding, only one click): Top – Left – Top-Fixed
This simple yet powerful option will keep your header contents always on top, @_MAX23_, asked for this feature via @Superthemes but we’re sure many of you will appreciate it!
You can check how it looks on E2 Minimum.
Smoother post loading transitions
We’ve upgraded the post loading transition dynamic in order to make it even smoother than before, since E 2.2 you can choose the transition duration and now its an absolute breeze!
Static Pagination Nav option
Evolutive comes with a native Ajax powered pagination dynamic that allows a smooth and clean paged posts navigation, however you can now choose to switch back to the canonical WP navigation via Evolutive Settings, no code needed, just a select. This option was requested by Sandiver on our Support Boards.
Plus now Evolutive comes with a new layout mode variant: MINIMUM
MINIMUM turns your E2 Theme in a super-simple, even more minimalistic layout. No title, no categories, no frills, just content.
Live Theme Editor still works perfectly on this layout mode, however some features have been disabled to make it lighter and faster. You can revert to Normal mode whenever you want, without loosing any previous customization.
Check demo on E2 Minimum.
Upgrading E2 is quite simple:
- Get it from your Versioning Board.
- FTP login to your wp-content/themes directory.
- Rename your current evolutive2 theme directory (we’re doing this to keep a backup copy, just in case).
- Unpack and upload the latest theme release in your wp-content/themes directory.
